Troubled singer Britney Spears appears to be finding comfort in food following her recent spell in a psychiatric ward. The 26-year-old pop star was showing off a noticeably curvier figure when she dined out at her favourite restaurant Shu Sushi in Bel Air last night. Clutching a notebook and Blackberry device, Britney dressed for the cool LA night in a lycra dress and puffa jacket as she was followed by her bodyguard and assistant Brett. It appeared Britney had forgotten her underwear yet again, revealing a tad too much to the awaiting throng of paparazzi as she stepped out of her car. And after flirting with the Kabbalah and Hinduism in recent years, Britney seems to be returning to her Christian roots as she teamed a silver cross with her ensemble.
Boo! No more vag, Britney! When will you learn? Blah, it makes sense that Papa Jamie has ordered that Britney never be allowed to be by herself when in public ... even when she goes to the bathroom ... it's clear that she's not quite ready to handle freedom and responsibility on her own just yet. Sometimes I wonder if she ever will be ready to handle things on her own. [Source]
The Spice Girls Reunion Tour made it's last NYC stop last night at Madison Square Garden and Les Spices managed to pull out a new trick in order to, ahem, spice up the show. At various stops along the tour, the Spice Girls brought their children out on stage with them as they performed the song Mama. Last night was one of those stops ... and when 3-year old Cruz Beckham took the stage he obvs felt the time was right to thrill the crowd with his awesome breakdancing skillz ... here are a few pics of Baby Spice Cruz Beckham stealing the show last night:

The youngest Beckham boy, who will be three tomorrow, charmed the notoriously tough crowd at Madison Square Garden with an amazing display of breakdancing, revealing a hidden talent for the crowd-pleasing moves. Even Spice Girl Melanie Brown, mother of Angel Iris and Phoenix Chi, was amazed at his spontaneous performance and she had to stop singing as she laughed out loud in amazement and said "that's brilliant" as proud mother Victoria looked on smiling.
Hahhahahaha ... this has to be the cutest thing ever ... click HERE to watch video of the Spices performing Mama ... Cruz begins his routine at around the 3 minute mark. If you watch the video til the end you'll see that they had a hard time getting the little ham off the stage. [Source]
But, Cruz wasn't the only Spice kid on stage ... all of the Spice moms (sans Mel C.) brought their offspring out on stage for a bit:

Dressed in sparkly Cavalli outfits, the girls took to the stage hand-in-hand to sing the emotional song Mama. And the event became a family affair when they brought their children, who were all watching from the front row, up onstage. Mel B danced with 10-month-old Angel, her baby by actor Eddie Murphy, in her arms. Geri showed off 19-month-old Bluebell Madonna, while Victoria strode proudly onstage with her three sons. However, nine-year-old Brooklyn, thrust among the lights and the rhinestone costumes, looked as if he'd much rather be somewhere else. Appropriately Baby Spice - Emma Bunton - showed off her six-month-old son Beau. The Spice Girls tour has just two weeks to go, after the group announced their decision to cut it short last month.
Yep ... it looks pretty evident that VB's eldest son, Brooklyn, is SO over it all:

You can tell that he was pretty pissed that he got upstaged by his baby brother -- LOL! Much love goes out to Pink reader Kathryn who was at last night's show and sent in a few of her photos to share :) [thanks Kathryn]
Alright ... moving on ... Natalie Portman, Scarlett Johansson and Eric Bana were all on hand at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel here in NYC to participate in a press conference for their new movie The Other Boleyn Girl ... here are a few pics:

Lovely, lovely ... everyone was lookin' lovely. Eric Bana is just a really hot man so it'll be very cool to see him in this movie ... I love Natalie Portman and I don't mind Scarlett Johansson that much so, all in all, the movie should be a huge hit, no? After all, having 3 big name actors is bound to ensure box office gold. Things appear to still be going strong in the much-talked about romance between Heroes co-stars Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia as the couple was spotted out together this weekend at a black tie private party in Hollywood. Here are a few pics of our dear HaLo making their grand exit from the event:

Aww ... they make such a cute couple ... nice and innocent. One might imagine that all these two do together on dates is hold hands and stare lovingly into one another's eyes ... envisioning anything more risqué than that would be far too much to bear. Let's just assume that HaLo have been abstaining from engaging in any sort of enterprises that might be rated stronger than PG-13, shall we? I wouldn't want my frail little heart to burst from hearing otherwise. [Source]
In an attempt to try and whip up more interest in the new movie The Hottie and the Nottie, movie producers have released the following photos of the movie's biggest fan:

Hahahahaha ... in other Paris Hilton news, HERE is video of everyone's favorite heiress trying her best at being a Pussycat Doll. Try not to choke on your unceasing guffaws.
It would appear that Madonna's only begotten daughter, Lourdes Maria Ciccone Leon, has already grown tired of her fame and notoriety ... and she hasn't even gotten old enough to really understand its magnitude. Here are a couple pics of Lola getting herself a mani/pedi ...

... and lookin' ready to strangle someone for invading on her private time. This little one is going to be a pistol, I can just see it now. Mark my words, we'll be seeing her whippin' the ass of some poor soul who dares to cross her path on the wrong day. [Source]
As if the thought of an ass-beating by a disgruntled celebrity child wasn't scary enough ... here is a new photo of Marie Osmond posing with one of her terrifyingly creepy dolls at the NY Toy Fair at The Jacob Javits Convention Center here in NYC:

Maybe I'm the only one but there is something in the doll's don't-get-too-close-to-me-or-I'll-suck-out-your-soul stare that gives me the heeby-jeebies. I can't believe that people would actually want to have these things in their homes. [Source]
Well, well now ... what is going on here? Tom Cruise ... paling around with a woman who is not contractually obliged to be in his presence? Doth mine eyes deceive me?

She's taller than him, and a brunette, but that's where the similarity ends, as Tom Cruise cozies up to a woman who is clearly not wife Katie Holmes. Tom and the mystery brunette were seen cuddling in Los Angeles last week. And it's clear there was a previous acquaintance between the two as they greeted each other rather warmly. The Mission Impossible star's wife was nowhere to be seen as Tom and the woman walked arm-in-arm inside a building, and disappeared into an elevator. Cruise looked relaxed and was smiling as the mystery brunette kept a protective arm around him, but kept his trademark sunglasses on. Later the pair openly posed for a photograph together, so there was little suggestion of anything irregular.
I'm sorry ... cuddling? Tom Cruise? And a mystery woman? Could freedom really be within reach for Katie Holmes at long last? My mind is just befuddled with possibilities ... tho, I shouldn't get my hopes too high. But still ... this could mean something ... after all, Tom Cruise is not the type of person to mislead the public by engaging in any sort of shammy relationship just to draw attention to himself or any projects he may be working on. Smashing Pumpkins played a show at the Brabanthallen in Den Bosch, Netherlands last night ... and here are a few pics from their performance:

I'm not a huge SP fan but I do love that they played the Netherlands on the day that David and I left. Incidentally, Babyshambles played a show in Amsterdam last night as well. Holland was really hopping last night, it would seem. [Source]
Who knew that Lindsay Lohan was a wrestling fan? Certainly not I ... but here are a couple pics of Linds posing with WWE wrestling superstars Rey Mysterio and John Cena in front of their Monday night RAW show at the Honda Center in Anaheim, CA last night:

It turns out that Lindsay wasn't in the hiz solely to enjoy all the wrestling ... she was there primarily to spend time with children from the Sunshine Dreams of Canada Foundation who were there to enjoy the wresting:
To the pleasant surprise of many WWE Superstars and Divas, Hollywood A-list actress Lindsay Lohan dropped by the Honda Center this Monday before Raw. The star of Mean Girls, Georgia Rule and Bobby chatted and snapped photos with Superstars John Cena, JBL, Rey Mysterio, and six-time boxing champion Floyd Mayweather. But Lohan's visit wasn't limited to meeting Raw Superstars and Divas; she also spent time with children like Brandon Eliot, from the Sunshine Dreams of Canada Foundation. "I love what [WWE] does for children, and I think what WWE does is amazing," she said, after a photo with a smiling Eliot. "I love being with children and giving back as much as I can." Each year, WWE grants the wishes of children who desire to meet their favorite WWE Superstars. Since 1982, Superstars and Divas have conducted more than 5,000 meet-and-greet sessions with children across the United States, Canada, Great Britain, Ireland, Germany and Australia.
How nice of Lindsay to take time out of her bizzy schedule to come out and spend time with kids in need. I don't think that it hurt that there were also burly and muscley men to hang around with as well. L. Lo strikes me as such a giver ... always willing to show parts of her that may have previously gone unnoticed ... [Source]
... and speaking of Lindsay "showing parts" ... here are a few pics of Lindsay on the cover and in the pages of New York magazine in a photospread homage to the Last Sitting photoshoot that Marilyn Monroe posed for mere weeks before her death in 1962:

Actress Lindsay Lohan appears as she's never been seen before in an exclusive photo portfolio by Bert Stern, restaging the photographer's famous series of photos of Marilyn Monroe that came to be known as "The Last Sitting," in the Spring Fashion issue of New York magazine, on sale today. Shot at the Hotel Bel-Air on February 5, the photos of Lohan as Monroe duplicate the 1962 originals down to the lighting, the shellacked blonde wig Lohan wears, and her willingness to appear in little more than a chiffon scarf. Regarding the nudity, Lohan tells the magazine: "I was comfortable with it," though she confesses to having done "250 crunches" the night before the shoot. Lohan sees the Monroe photos (and by extension her own) as a way of regaining power: "Here is a woman who is giving herself to the public. She's saying,'Look, you've taken a lot from me, so why don't I give it to you myself.' She's taking control back." Taken only six weeks before Monroe was found dead of an apparent barbiturate overdose, Stern's original "Last Sitting" photos are "arguably the most famous images ever captured of America's most famous actress," Amanda Fortini writes in an accompanying essay. Lohan admits to an abiding obsession with Monroe, having purchased an apartment where she once lived, and says of her willingness to re-create the famous photos, "I didn't have to put much thought into it. I mean, Bert Stern? Doing a Marilyn shoot? When is that ever going to come up? It's really an honor." No stranger to scandal herself, the thrice-rehabbed Lohan calls Monroe’s suicide "tragic" and remarks to the magazine, "You know, it's also tragic what just recently happened to someone else." When asked if she's referring to Heath Ledger she says, "They are both prime examples of what this industry can do to someone." She is adamant, however, that she will not meet a similar fate, saying, "... I sure as hell wouldn't let it happen to me."
This is really a pretty spectacular photoshoot. Not only did Lindsay decide to pose in the nude, just like Marilyn did, but she was able to do so for the very same photographer who shot the Marilyn pics back in 1962 -- I think this is really very remarkable. Here are a few side-by-side comparison pics of Marilyn and Lindsay from their Bert Stern shoots:

In 1962, photographer Bert Stern shot a series of photos of Marilyn Monroe that have collectively come to be known as "The Last Sitting." Taken during several boozy sessions at the Hotel Bel-Air, the photographs are arguably the most famous images ever captured of America's most famous actress: Monroe, sleepy-eyed and naked, sips from a Champagne glass, enacts a fan dance of sorts with various diaphanous scarves, romps with erotic playfulness on a bed of white linens. Six weeks after she had posed, Monroe was found dead of an apparent barbiturate overdose. The photos endure partly as artifacts—as the last visible evidence of the living woman (a legacy reinforced by Stern's decision to publish the contact sheets Monroe herself had crossed out in red marker). But the pictures are also remarkable for the raw truths they seem to reveal. In them, we see an actress whose comedic talents were overshadowed by her sex appeal, a woman who is cannily aware of her pinup status, yet is also beginning to show her 36 years. In many shots, she is obviously drunk. This was an unhappy time for Monroe. Notorious for her on-set antics, she had been publicly lambasted by Billy Wilder after Some Like It Hot, then fired from the production of Something's Got to Give; she'’d endured two recent divorces and, in 1961, a brief stint in a psychiatric ward. Stern excavated and preserved the poignant humanity of the real woman—beautiful, but also fragile, needy, flawed—from the monumental sex symbol. In our armored, airbrushed age, his achievement feels almost revolutionary. Forty-six years later, Stern has revisited his classic shots with Lindsay Lohan, another actress whose prodigious fame is not quite commensurate with her professional achievements. Stern, who shot the photos on film rather than digitally, told me he was interested in Lohan because he suspected "she had a lot more depth to her" than one might assume from "those teenage movies." Indeed, many in the film industry believe that Lohan has yet to pursue projects equal to her gifts. Without putting too fine a point on it, you might say Lohan has, like Monroe, a knack for courting the tabloids and tripping up her career. (Readers will remember that Lohan had her own Billy Wilder moment two summers ago on the set of Georgia Rule.) Stern said the project also grew out of his interest in "controversial women," or "bad girls," like "Britney, Paris, and Lindsay." Monroe was, in a sense, the original tabloid queen.
The article that accompanies these photos in the new issue of New York magazine is a great read. I, for one, believe that this issue is worth owning and I deffo plan to pick up a few copies before I fly back to LA tomorrow. Head on over to the New York magazine website to see the full portfolio in all it's uncensored, NSFW glory. [Source]
Jessica Alba is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Latina magazine. In her photospread, she recreates some famous scenes from various horror films ... in the article she talks "brown babies":

In Latina's March 2008 cover story, Jessica Alba gets personal with Editor-in-Chief Mimi Valdés Ryan and directly responds to the rumors that have resulted in her now-commonly used nickname, "Jessica 'Don't Call Me Latina' Alba." Check out some of her revealing answers below, and don't forget to pick up the full story when the issue hits newsstands on February 19!
On her reluctance to walk the red carpet at Latin events: "I'll support those shows, but I can't go on the press lines and have people make me feel bad about myself. Life is too short. I can't change how I grew up, and I shouldn't have to apologize for it. I know I feel close to the Latin community, because that's what I grew up with."
On claims that she's proud to have cut loose from her Mexican roots: "I never said that. Cut loose from what? What the hell are they talking about? Why would I want to cut loose from the only family I know?"
On not learning to speak Spanish as a child: "I wish to God that my dad spoke Spanish to my brother and me, but he didn't grow up with it."
On confusing other men for her dad as a kid: "When I was little, I used to go up to black men and hold their legs, thinking it was my dad all the time. I'd wrap my arms around them, then look up and be like, 'Oh my God!'"
On being accepted for who she is in Hollywood: "I was always trying to figure out: How the hell am I going to be mainstream? How are people going to accept me? When are the going to get a clue that I am American, that this is what America looks like -- people like me who are mixed, have different blood, mixed with different ethnicities? When are the people who are hiring for these jobs and writing these screenplays going to realize that?"
On what she wants her baby to look like: "I'm excited for my baby to be brown. I just have to believe the dark gene is going to survive. Cash and I are like, please!"
I ... uh ... don't really know what to say. The photoshoot is a cool idea and all (even tho some of the poses look ... forced) but I'm not exactly sure what it has to do with the accompanying interview. The two things seem so different from one another, I don't really understand why this particular photoshoot was paired with this interview. I suppose you gotta give it up to Jessica for being so candid in her interview ... I can relate, especially to the part about not learning Spanish. In my case, my parents did speak Spanish to me and I chose to reject it in order to fit in better with my surroundings. It's something that I've grown to regret. I'm very interested in reading the full text of this interview ... I wonder what other things Jessica has to say about this heritage thing. [Source]

Here is another picture of Britney Spears out with her father and legal conservator Jamie Spears as they made their way home from their night on the town this weekend after having dinner together on Saturday night at Social Hollywood in LA:

Britney Spears spent Saturday night with dad. The singer, 26, and her father Jamie - whose co-conservatorship over her was recently extended until March 10 — hit Hollywood restaurant Social Hollywood shortly before 8 p.m. She wore diamond earrings and a chocolate brown dress with spaghetti straps; her father carried her fur coat for her. They spent more than two hours dining before calling it a night. Though Spears' relationship with her father appears to be improving, one celeb says she wouldn't mind taking over parenting duties for the troubled pop singer. "She can call me and come live in our house with us for a couple of months," Heidi Klum says in a new interview with German broadcaster ARD. "I would help set her straight. I am sorry when a young person gets thrown so off track," Klum says, according to a transcript obtained by the Associated Press. "She has, of course, lived an extremely wild life."
It is so interesting that so many people want to take care of Britney ... despite the fact that there are legions of haters out there, there is a strong contingent of folks who not only feel for our dear Britney but also claim to want to step in and actively provide help. Irregardless of whether or not Heidi Klum is being serious with this offer to help Britney, I think it says a lot that she would even go on the record and say such a thing. It's so fascinating that so may people just want to help her. [Source]
In other Spearsness, here are a couple new photos of mom-to-be Jamie Lynn Spears pumpin' some gas in her car and showing off the first signs of what looks to be an emerging baby bump:

First off, shouldn't the very strapping babydaddy Casey Aldridge be there to pump the gas for JL? Clearly, he had better things to do. Poor Jamie-Lynn looks so over it already ... it's gonna be a long pregnancy for her ... I doubt she's gonna find much joy in all the scrutiny that is coming her way but -- it comes with the territory. I still find it a bit sad that she's just Britney's 16-year old baby sister and she's already starting to show signs of her pregnancy. It's still gonna take some getting used to ... but this baby will be here before we know it. [Source]
Madonna, who spent part of last week debuting her first directed movie Filth and Wisdom at a film festival in Berlin, Germany, has made her way to LA with her littlest traveling companion. Here are a few pics of Madge with little David Banda as they made their arrival at LAX airport yesterday:

At this point, it's unclear if Madonna is in town for work or pleasure but I suspect (as is always the case with her) that it's prolly a little of both. I'm glad she brought along David Banda with her ... it's been a while since we've gotten to see him out. He's already getting so big ... it might be time for Maddy to start thinking about procuring her next young'n. [Source]
Jonathan Rhys-Meyers was on hand this weekend at the Irish Film And Television Awards which were held at the Gaiety Theatre in Dublin, Ireland this weekend ... here are a couple photos of JRM posing with his Best Actor in Television Award which is but one of the record breaking 7 awards that was won at the awards show by JRM's Showtime drama The Tudors:

Television period drama The Tudors stole the show at the Irish Film and Television Awards (IFTAs) when it won in a record seven categories. Jonathan Rhys Meyers was honoured for his performance in the hit series with an award for best actor in a television drama lead role. Co-stars Maria Doyle Kennedy and Nick Dunning also picked up IFTAs while The Tudors scooped best drama series. Another three awards at the ceremony in Dublin's Gaiety Theatre made the drama about the life of King Henry VIII the most successful in the event's five year history.
Despite the man's creepy-as-hell stare, I really do like JRM's work. The Tudors is only the latest project that I love him in. We all know that he's been thru a very tough time of it lately (since falling off the wagon upon hearing news of his mother's passing) but here's hoping that he's able to stabilize and get his life back on track. I would assume that winning accolades like this from your professional peers goes a long way in making one feel better about things. [Source]
OY ... as if we haven't been tortured enough by Paris Hilton in recent weeks she had to go and take our torture to the next level. For some reason, she was under the impression that the world was interested in seeing what she looks like as a Pussycat Doll ... and this is what we get for it:

Blah. It's bad enough that she had to go an pilfer Dita von Teese's sexy champagne dance routine ... but it got even worse as the night dragged on:

Was it really necessary for Paris to mug a tranny callgirl of her outfit (think about it, how else would she be able to find these tacky-ass shoes in such a large size?) just so that she could make a fool of herself on stage? I mean, I guess we gotta give her props for her fearlessness ... she can't seriously have thought that 1.) this look was sexy and 2.) that people would actually like it ... right? Oh Paris, you are such a minx. [Source]
I'm telling you ... there is nothing sexier than a woman like Amy Winehouse who goes after what she wants ... even if that "something" is a bucket of chicken from KFC ...

... tho, I could really do without the nasty cig hanging from her mouth. Waitaminute, did I say sexier? I meant scarier ... sorry. [Source]
Pink readers Victoria & Heather and Holly were among the folks who were able to see the Spice Girls at the Chicago stop on their Reunion Tour this weekend ... and they were kind enough to send in a few really cute pics from the show to share:

I have to say ... it's really cute when the Spice Moms bring out their kiddies on stage. Pink reader Holly writes:
I don't know if this happens at every show or not, but for the song "Mama," Emma, Mel B, and Victoria brought our their children. (Bluebell was MIA) Right before the song started, Victoria just starts crying!
OMG ... crying?! That's really something ... and no, I don't think it happens at every show. The finality of the end of the tour must be triggering a deeply embedded emotion chip inside our favorite robot. Pink reader Victoria confirms that VB cried during the show (again, at a different point in the show) and also relays a ridiculous run-in with the Beckham security:
We were sitting 4th row and we were super excited. Heather stood up to take a picture of the stage just before the girls were about to go on and immediately after snapping the photo, one of Victoria Beckham's security team gets in her face accused her of taking pictures of the kids. She asked what kids and then we looked up and noticed that all the Spice babies and their nannies are sitting in the front row. The security guy then demanded to see her photo. She showed him and because little Brooklyn or Romeo or whatever that other kid's name is, head was in the corner of the picture he made her delete it. It was totally pointless because later during the concert all the kids got up on stage and got a zillion pictures taken of them. At one point during the concert Victoria cried. There is short set in the concert where Geri was off stage while the girls performed "Holler," the single they put out after she quit the group. After that Geri returned to the stage and for a few minutes all the girls held hands and stood silent. It was during this time Victoria began to cry. She couldn't stop crying and she and Geri embraced each other for a few moments. It was really sweet.
Hmm ... I would have a huge problem if some security thug not connected with the venue itself came up to me and demanded anything like this of me -- on what authority can they demand to see anything ... or force someone to delete a photo? Victoria is right, if they had such a problem with people taking pictures of the kids then they shouldn't be parading them around on stage. And again with the crying ... I don't really know what to make of it all. I think I'd have to see the tears streaming from her eye sockets myself ... otherwise, I might assume the poor dear had just sprung an oil leak instead. [thanks Victoria O & Heather and Holly]
Everyone's fave actress ingénue Ellen Page is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Interview magazine:

She is a really pretty girl ... but I don't think these photos really show that fact. It looks like she's trying too hard in each photo. I think I like her best when she looks more like herself. [Source]
Hayden Christensen is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of Details magazine:

These are really great pics ... I'm still very intrigued to see if Jumper is any good. His movies are very hit or miss, I think ... I hope this one is a passable hit. [Source]
And finally ... here is a short video clip that is way full of too much fierceness:
Work.it.out.
And so ... that is all on the goss front from Amsterdam. I realize that this post is sort for a Monday but there is so much going on today that I didn't have that much time to do a lot of work. David and I never really got on the right sleeping schedule ... we kept waking up at odd hours thruout our whole stay. We are going to try and do a few more things before we have to fly out later on today ... I'm still hoping that there will be bike-riding to be had.
I will post one last quick blogpost a bit later on with a few personal pics from yesterday ... we had a really great anniversary day ... and a really amazing trip overall.
I'm out.
Ever since conservatorship of Britney Spears's person and assets was granted to her father, Jamie Spears, a few weeks ago there has been a markedly different modus operandi in Brit Brit's day-to-day life. She went from daily outings to gas stations, drug stores, hotels, lingerie shops, various boutiques, etc. at all hours of the day and night to a much slower paced life of infrequent trips to Starbucks and her fave dance studio in North Hollywood, CA (in fact, she even started doing a bit of charity work, spending some of her free time teaching dance classes to little kids). It's unclear whether Papa Jamie's influence on Britney is the reason for this behavioral shift or if her treatment for bipolar disorder is finally having an effect ... the bottom line is that positive changes have occurred in Britney's life ... which is cause for celebration. Last night, Britney and her father Jamie went out for a nice, quiet dinner together at Social Hollywood ... along with 68 of Brit Brit's closest photog friends:

Photo credit: X17 and Splash News
I am still amazed that things appear to be going so well for Britney once again. I'm sure there will be talk about how Papa Jamie and Britney were partying the night away but I contend that her father wanted to do something nice for his daughter since she has been making great progress over the past few weeks. As far as I can ascertain, there was no sign of any of the toxic people who used to be in her life at last night's dinner. There was no sign of Adnan Ghalib, Cousin Alli Sims or Sam Lutfi ... just Britney and her father. It's a nice sight, I must say. I only hope that this sort of positive behavior continues well into her future. I long for the day when talk of Britney's mental breakdown and subsequent erratic behavior is just a thing of the past. While Britney was bizzy working on getting her act together, Mariah Carey has been bizzy getting the music video for her first single Touch My Body shot (at a mansion in Beverly Hills, CA) as well as the cover artwork for her new album E=MC2. Here are a couple pics from Mimi's video shoot and a couple pics of Mariah making her way into the apartment of Lenny Kravitz in NYC where she reportedly held the photoshoot for her album's cover art:

Mimi is set to conquer the world once again with the release of this new single and album. She's been out of the spotlight for the past couple of years and is ready to get back on the scene. There are reports that MC is planning to hit the road in support of this album almost as soon as it gets released on April 15th. There is no word on when the video is due for release but I can't imagine that it will be long now ... the single has already been released to radio and is already making waves. In case you've yet to hear Touch My Body, you can stream it online from Z100 HERE. [Source]
The Spice Girls are winding their much-hyped Reunion Tour down with their last remaining shows in the Midwest portion of the US (they played Chicago, IL on Friday night and Detroit, MI last night) and Vicki B. has been using her off-time in between shows to do promo work for her dVb denim line. Here are a couple pics of VB at an in-store appearance at a Saks Fifth Avenue department store in Chicago this weekend where she slipped up and showed a bit of emotion in front of the cameras:

Perhaps it was the opportunity to combine her two favourite hobbies, fashion and herself, that put Victoria Beckham in such a good mood. Or maybe it was the sight of her adoring fans that did - but Posh decided to break with the norm and mark the occasion with a smile. In a refreshing sight, Victoria, better known for stern-faced poses, flashed her pearly whites as she spent the day promoting her clothing brand dVb at Saks department store in Chicago. The Spice Girl, 33, took the time to greet her fans, paying particular attention to one in particular - who had Victoria's autograph tattooed on her back. Dressed in her own brand jeans and a black tuxedo jacket, the popstar unveiled her new collection of denim and sunglasses.
I usually complain that Vicki B.'s stoic and emotionless nature makes her look cold, heartless and unfeeling ... but I think I'm more disturbed by this photo of VB trying to show happiness. Her face just looks all ... wrong. Clearly this woman was not constructed for emotive purposes ... perhaps it's best that she be allowed to appear stone-faced and unmoved by humanity whenever she appears in public. It seems to be for the best, no? [Source]
In other Beckham news, David Beckham has been keeping himself bizzy back home in LA with his daddy duties and his commitments to his soccer team, the LA Galaxy. Here are a couple pics of Becks training with his team mates in SoCal this week:

Hee hee ... I love me some Becks, partly because it seems completely impossible for the man to take a bad photo -- but he sure does look ... special ... in the first photo. Hahahahaha ... whatevs, he still rules all. [Source]
In other hotness news, Jake Gyllenhaal looks to be back to his usual happy self in these new pics of the lad emerging from a medical building this week. These photos are the first of Jakey poo looking semi-happy again since the sudden and shocking death of his good friend Heath Ledger:

I can't imagine that it has been easy for Jake to accept the untimely death of his friend (and at such an early age) so it's really nice seeing him back to good. Jake has been lying low the past few weeks so it's great having him back ... he's been missed. [Source]
Okay y'all ... have you heard of the new German pop group called Tokio Hotel yet? Well, if not then you're about to. The boys in this group have been breaking hearts all over Germany and in parts of Europe ... wherever they show up to play a show, actually ... and they have now set their sights on the US. Here are a few pics of Tokio Hotel playing their first LA show at The Roxy on the Sunset Strip this weekend:

I have yet to experience the group live but that is about to change ... Tokio Hotel are making their way to NYC tomorrow to play the first of 2 shows at The Fillmore at Irving Plaza. Since David and I will not be back in NYC until late Monday night, I managed to get a couple of tickets for their Tuesday night show. I confess, I am not very familiar with their music just yet ... but I've deffo been taking in all the buzz that has been going around in the past year. I'm really looking forward to seeing if Tokio Hotel is really worth the hype. [Source]
Laguna Beach alum Stephen Colletti spent part of his weekend at JET nightclub in Las Vegas, NV where he was celebrating his 22nd birthday. Interestingly enough, Stephen (who used to date Hayden Panettiere after he dated Kristin Cavallari) showed up to his own birthday party dateless. It should also be noted that none of his Laguna Beach pals were at his little shindig either:

Hmmm ... I wonder where Dieter, Trey and his best bud LC were when poor Stephen was left to dance at his birthday party all alone. It's such a shame that the boy had no one to share his Jean-Philippe Patisserie birthday cake with ... which had sparklers and everything. What a shame. [Source]
Here are a few amazing photos of Kylie Minogue from the latest issue of Gala magazine which featured a special feature for her new fragrance Showtime:

Wee! I love these photos. It's amazing how Kylie manages to keep her fingers on the pulse of what's cool and always manages to keep up with the times. The whole disco ball thing looks very cool and I love how she's embraced the whole 80's neon color throw back that seems to be all the rage this season. I am very much looking forward to her tour later on this year ... it will be the first one that I will be able to see live and in person. I can't wait :) [Source]
Coco, the big-bottomed wife of Ice-T, is featured in the new March issue of Playboy magazine in a very ... interesting ... 6-page pictorial. Obvs, I cannot post her pictures here on the blog but they can be seen online if you look in the right place. Now, the only reason that I am even mentioning this new pictorial is because Coco caught my attention with the interview that she gave to Playboy where she gave some disturbing answers to a few questions:

Playboy.com chatted with the effervescent star of her own website (www.cocosworld.com, myspace/cocosworld2006), Best of Coco 2008 Calendar and now Playboy magazine pictorial about how she keeps rap's original gangster happy in bed, her favorite sex positions and her ballyhooed butt.
PB: What does Ice like you to wear?
Coco: He loves heels -- it's gotta be some freak heels. I wear them in bed all the time. I actually keep a pair of shoes next to the bed, just in case I don't have them on and we start gettin' busy ... I can throw them on. When I get a new pair of shoes I'm gonna have them right next to the bed, because that's the first place I'm gonna wear them. When he's laying in bed, I'll go into my closet and give him a fashion show. I'll show him four or five different outfits. It turns him on when I give him a fashion show. I'm not even dancing. Guys like the dance; he likes how I walk.
PB: Is that butt of yours real or surgically enhanced?
Coco: [Laughs] People ask me that all the time. I got my boobs done when I was 18, so I've always said they were enhanced. But I feel like they're mine though; I've had them so long I don't even remember what they were like before. My butt of course is a hundred percent au naturel. We'll do tests; [Ice] will let women touch my butt, feel it, grab it, whatever they want to do, to prove that there's nothing in there. But no matter what I do people will always think that somehow it's fake. Thanks to my mom -- she has the same kind of body type; she has a small waist. And my dad is really muscular without even working out.
PB: Do you have pet names for each other?
Coco: I call him Baby Poo. He calls me, "Bitch, get over here."
Now, the freaky shoes in bed thing isn't really all that strange but the other 2 questions are a bit disturbing. It doesn't seem right that her husband "lets" other women feel her ass just to test its authenticity. I also think it's not at all cool that his pet name for her is Bitch, get over here ... even if he/she is only kidding. It just doesn't feel like love when a relationship is framed in this manner. I don't know that it sends the right message either ... call me old fashioned but I just think that partners should be treated with respect. [Source, Source]

And finally ... it's time for the Hot Dude of the Week. Even tho is chilly and cold outside here in Amsterdam there is no reason why we cannot enjoy some half-nekkid hawtness in the form of All American Guy Mike:

Even tho it may not feel like it outside, the summer season is just around the corner and sights like this will, once again, become commonplace ... especially at the SoCal beaches. What better way to warm up on those cold winter nights than with visions of half-nekkidness dancing in your heads. Enjoy ;) [Source]
